While reviewing freight invoices from our carrier for SpillTech, Robin found invoices that seemed much higher than they should. Several of the higher charges were fees the carrier was applying when they inspected our orders. At the same time, they started re-weighing orders and charging additional fees. Robin disputed all the re-weighs with backup showing they were incorrect. She also disputed other fees that were invoiced incorrectly.

In total Robin was able to gain refunds from the carrier in the amount of $11,116.22.  This is a great example of adding value to the approval process. Robin questioned what was being billed instead of “rubberstamping.”
