WE CARE Value “Accountability”

On January 16, after 6+ inches of snow and ice, BM was notified by the Lindsey Warehouse owner that the roof on Building 6 had collapsed.  After an initial assessment by Bobby and others that day, Bobby took control of the situation for Oil-Dri. Bobby assessed the safety aspect of the collapsed area and barricaded the area off to traffic.  Over the next 2 weeks, he and his team moved product from adjacent buildings that were exposed to the outside weather as a result of the collapse.  They also constructed berms around the collapsed area to prevent water from getting into the other areas of the warehouse. Ultimately, he and his team worked with the owner as products were recovered from Building 6 by the owner, took these recovered products and relocated them to other areas in the warehouse.  Bobby and his team, along with Bob Polcyn, were able to reconcile the products recovered and those remaining in Building 6.  All of these efforts enabled BM to better meet customer shipments and to close 2nd quarter at the warehouse with little trouble.
